A maker and painter exploring and reinterpreting the portrayal of masculinity from Art History and as told in the myths and stories that we tell ourselves. 

My work takes in characters and tales from Greek, Mesopotamian, and related myth cycles, and how their portrayal is used to reinforce or disrupt ideas of the expectations and role of the male in society and the world. 

My practice is figurative, with the nude male form as its essential and timeless centre.
